The Right Solution

Outsourcing Project: Our client’s procurement team selected RightStone as the sole vendor for a major outsourcing project. RightStone was tasked with transitioning a union-represented, onsite, 24/7 data center team ensuring no disruption of service. RightStone was able to successfully negotiate with the union and team to transition 98.5% of the team members. Throughout the contract, RightStone replaced any attrition in the team and continues to maintain a good working relationship with the union. The original project was for a two-year period. RightStone has been awarded multiple year extensions.

HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL ENGAGEMENT?
Typical contractor assignments generally run six to nine months in duration, with some assignments exceeding 18 months or longer. We normally do not undertake orders for contract assignments less than 90 days and there is minimal direct-hire or contract-to-hire placement. IT contractors are reluctant to pursue direct-hire opportunities because actual consulting for project assignments is the primary way contractors gain industry knowledge and learn new technologies that are subsequently leveraged for increased earning potential and elevated project scope responsibility.
